NOTICE TO ALL EMPLOYEES

POSTED PURSUANT TO A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT APPROVED BY A REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE FEDERAL LABOR RELATIONS AUTHORITY

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), Local 1786 filed an unfair laobr practice charge alleging the Agency unilaterally implemented the requirement that Industrial Equipment Mechanics (IEMs) possess and maintain a Commonwealth of Virginia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a Marine Base CDL. In recognition of our obligations under the Federal Service Laobr Management Relations Statue, we agree that:

WE WILL, upon request, bargain with AFGE, Local 1786, over impact and implemenation of the requirement that the IEM's possess and maintain a Commonwealth of Virginia and Marine Base CDL. Additionally, we will apply any agreement reached or ordered retroactively to August 30, 2011 when the Agency implemented the CDL requirement.

WE WILL NOT, in any like or related manner interfere with, restrain, or coerce our employees int he exercise of the rights assured them by the Statute.
